Our Founder

Growing up, our founder, Scott was deeply attached to his nan Judy who unfortunately suffered from Multiple Sclerosis (MS). During his nan’s final years, his family and he watched his nan struggle with normal day-to-day tasks and becoming less independent as her MS progressed, leaving them feeling helpless.

After a career change and finally becoming a disability support worker in his adult years, Scott felt like he made a difference in the lives of the people he supported.

In February 2019, with the support of family and his participants, Scott decided to start his own disability support service, believing that he could help make a real difference in the lives of people living with disabilities by being participant focused, respectful of their choices and having faith in them.

Scott believes that all people living with disabilities have the right to choice and control over their lives no matter their disability.

He proudly calls it, Choice Support Tasmania.
